In 1964 I entered Beloit College to pursue a degree in Biology with an uncertain notion of what I was going to do with that degree. While at Beloit I took some art classes particularly with Professor Arnold Popinsky. I begin to explore materials and processes beginning with plaster and welding. I loved it and produced the following collection of work. The first piece shown of plaster was my very first sculpture. 1967
