Bob Manley and I discovered a two story house located next to the campus of Murray State. It was going to be torn down so we requested permission to use it as a gallery until that point. We begin my gathering materials from all over the community and storing them at the house. From there we created themes for individual rooms and halls eventually filling the whole house with 3-D work. One room was shaped insulation, another had a dirt floor filled with assorted individual works using glass, cotton and rocks, another was totally full of artificial flowers. We used whatever we found. You get the idea. We sold individual pieces from the exhibit and plaque room by best offer. Work that didn’t sell was just left for the demolition equipment. We had a blast doing it!
